Leontopodium alpinum meristem cell culture:

Edelweiss or Leontopodium alpinum is a herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family which grows spontaneously on mountains ranges from the Pyrenees and the Alps to the Himalayas. it is very rare. The Edelweiss has developed defense mechanisms to survive the extreme heights where it lives and to protect itself from the great solar radiation exposure. Scientific studies have demonstrated the presence of powerful antioxidants in this plant and other anti-inflammatory substances with cytoprotective properties.

Syringa Vulgaris (Lilac) Leaf Cell:

well known as common Lilac, it is a shrub of the Oleaceae family; native to south-eastern Europe, it now grows wild throughout Europe. It contains verbascoside and isoverbascoside substances with high sebum normalizing, anti-redness and bacteriostatic power.

Collagen:

fibrous protein able to absorb huge water quantities; the application of collagen on the skin will protect from skin aging and will improve hydration.

Hyaluronic acid:

glycosaminoglycan located in the dermis, it is part of the fundamental substance in which fibroblasts are submerged. Its structure is jelly and with the ability to call back and retain a great amount of water. In that way it fills the cavities of the dermis and gives firmness to the skin.

Syn-Ake:

tri-peptide that mimics the action of a neuromuscular blocker. We can find it in the viper serum in a joint action against expression lines that become more permanent and deep over the years. It is one of the most effective active substance, able to reduce facial expression micro-contractions.

Vitamin E: 

also known as  tocopherol, it has an important antioxidant function and protects the body against the effects of free radicals and oxidative stress. Cell membrane contains lipids whose actions help to prevent oxidation. Tocopherol is a fat soluble vitamin well conveyed in the lipid composition of the skin as such, where it operates as a membrane stabilizer protecting the same against damage by free radicals. Vitamin E and A molecular complexes are particularly stable in cosmetic formulations, so that they’re definitely effective in anti-ageing treatments.

 Vitamin A:

also known as retinol, protects cell membranes from free radicals action especially in a combined action with vitamin E and it is fundamental for the tropism. It enhances skin elasticity and thickness inducing the differentiation of epithelia and increasing cellular turnover.
